Realms of Midworld

Hello everyone,

We've been buzzing with excitement as we've been dropping hints about something special for a while now.  Well, the time has come to pull back the curtain and introduce you to the extraordinary Realms of Midworld set!

This collection consists of 8 exciting Legendary locations.  But that's not all – we've also included flipped alternatives for two of them, allowing you to explore the possibilities of river and road variations.

We'll be honest; creating these tiles wasn't easy. Their intricate design and scale presented us with quite the challenge. However, we've poured all our effort into crafting them, and we're bursting with pride over what we've accomplished.  Special thanks goes to our new Graven Guild acolyte who played an vital roll in helping us produce these.  You nailed it.

You can now find this set for sale at on our MyMiniFactory page or on the MiniWarGaming Store.

Coincidentally... our friends over at MWG have joined forces with the very talented and passionate Zorpazorp to embark on an epic journey of their own—recreating the enchanting realm of Middle-earth using Hexton Hills!

We couldn't be more thrilled to see the magic that's come from this collaboration.   Middle-earth, with its rich lore and captivating landscapes, offers boundless inspiration for creative endeavors.

Is that all?

Over the past few months, we've faced some personal challenges that have thrown our planned release schedule into disarray.  We understand how eager you all are to see the next instalment in our Epic Cities series, the Great Wall set, which was originally slated to be released before Realms of Midworld.  However, due to these unforeseen circumstances, we've had to adapt our plans.

The good news is that the Great Wall set is indeed on its way, but it has grown far beyond our initial expectations. What was originally intended to be a set of 20 tiles has expanded into a colossal collection of 42 tiles.  We felt it was imperative to include all possible variations to ensure it meets your every need.

To manage this immense undertaking effectively, we've made the decision to split the Great Wall set into two parts. The first part will encompass the main wall segments and mountain connections, while the second part will feature the gatehouse, road, and river combinations.  This approach allows us to maintain the quality and attention to detail you've come to expect from our products.

While we've had to adjust our plans, please rest assured that our commitment to delivering high-quality, imaginative sets remains unchanged.

The first set will be released to the store and EC Add-on backers next week with the second set releasing in the weeks following.

By now, many of you have had the pleasure of exploring our brand-new website, (the one you’re on right now!) and we're thrilled to provide you with a cosy online home for all things Hexton Hills!

We encourage you to dive in and explore!  Whether you're seeking fresh ideas or itching to share your own, our user gallery, and video pages are here to ignite your imagination.  This website will also serve as a permanent link to our webapp.

We have big plans to keep enhancing and expanding our website, with a strong focus on serving and empowering the Hexton Hills community.  Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts.

What's next?

After our upcoming wall sets (which we can't wait for you to see!), we're setting our sights on revamping our tile guides and updating the web app.  This web app update will encompass everything we've released so far, except for gamification and map edges.  It's a long-overdue upgrade, and from here on out, we'll be keeping them up to date with each new release.

Exciting times lie ahead and so we'll be back next week with another release.

Thank you for being an essential part of the Hexton Hills journey.  Your support and enthusiasm drive us to keep pushing boundaries, and we're thrilled to continue creating incredible hex tiles for you!

as always,

keep it hexy,

Dan & Jax
