New Campaign! Imperia Hexica!
We've been hard at work forging the next evolution of Hexton Hills, and it’s finally time to share what’s coming next!
If you follow us on social media, you may have noticed our latest update—but if not, we’re excited to finally share what’s next:
Set in the heart of a grimdark wasteland, this campaign brings 89 brand-new hex tile STL files designed for Resin and FDM 3D printing, ranging from desolate, battle-scarred plains to towering Hive Cities that dominate the skyline. Whether you're crafting a war-torn frontier, a decaying industrial empire, or a sprawling dystopian stronghold, Imperia Hexica delivers the tools to build your vision.
Not a fan of Grimdark? No problem! 64% of this collection features neutral terrain, seamlessly expanding the Hexton Hills library. These barren landscapes, rocky outcrops, and shattered deserts are perfect for fantasy, post-apocalyptic, or sci-fi settings alike—introducing a brand-new biome to your collection!
We’ll be sharing more details, sneak peeks, and exclusive previews over the coming weeks, so stay tuned! In the meantime, to be among the first to get notified when we go live.

Wrapping Up Campaign 1 – A Bonus Finale!
Before we dive fully into Imperia Hexica, there are still a few loose ends to tie up from our first campaign. We’re very close to locking down the entire Imperia Hexica campaign set, and once that’s done, we’ll be shifting our focus to completing some final remaining tasks.
Just to reiterate what’s left on the list:
- Additional Road Connections
- Basic Dock/Land Connections
- Updated Tile Guides
Now, we'll be honest—these were never originally in the scope for Campaign 1. But as we started seeing how different tile sets interact, it became clear that some essential connections were… well, missing. And without them, certain builds just don’t feel complete.
Hex connections can be incredibly tricky to get right, and sometimes the gaps only reveal themselves once everything is in play.
We had hoped to add these sooner, but with our focus shifting to Imperia Hexica, we had to prioritize where we allocate our resources. That said, we still want to round things off properly—so think of these as a small but meaningful bonus, a final touch to ensure everything slots together just as it should.
It’s not a huge batch of new content, just a handful of extra connections that will help tie things up neatly.
If we ever realize we’ve missed a crucial tile, we’ll always rise to the occasion to fix it—but at the end of the day, we also need to make sure we can still earn a living (something we tend to forget in the excitement of making all these tiles!).
We appreciate your patience and support, and we hope you’ll enjoy this final touch to the Hexton Hills journey!
With that in mind, you can expect the next updates to be the final ones for this campaign. Speaking of which…
Closing the Book on Campaign 1 – What’s Next?
With all stretchgoals for Campaign 1 wrapped up, updates from the original Hexton Hills Kickstarter will naturally come to a stop. We’ll use this channel to notify you of the finale tiles and when Imperia Hexica launches, but after that, the two projects will be treated as separate entities to keep updates focused and avoid unnecessary overlap.
We know how frustrating it is to receive constant updates on projects you may no longer follow, so once we’ve delivered those last remaining pieces, we’ll stop using this campaign for broader news.
If you’d like to stay updated, we encourage you to sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media. That way, you won’t miss anything exciting from Hexton Hills: Imperia Hexica!
As always,
keep it hexy,
Dan & Jax
